dreamFILM is a not-for-profit film production company providing filmmakers an opportunity to work within their capacity on different films.  The films are made by newcomers; talented artists who have the passion and drive to make quality films. The difficulty of breaking through the steel walls of Hollywood is well known and especially difficult for artists from underserved and underrepresented communities. dreamFILM provides an open door for those artists to follow their dreams of developing and creating films that will entertain audiences everywhere.  Additionally, dreamFILM adapts published novels from writers that come from those same communities.  dreamFILM provides mentorship to youth and adults who dream of working in the film industry, but have no role models or experience.  They learn what it takes to produce a film from concept to release.  By providing these "dreamers" with well-seasoned and professional mentors, the goals of mentorship will be reached.  By providing talented individuals the ability to create their films, dreamFILM's mission is realized.

The films created by dreamFILM are chosen through an application process by a panel to determine the target audience for the film, the cost of producing the film and the distribution model for both international and domestic markets. dreamFILM provides filmmakers the opportunity to follow their dreams while producing narrative films for a wide domestic and international audience.
